Modified vehicle with tinted windows, a foldable interior cover for the windshield, a Faraday cage made from double-layered copper mesh, covered with copper tape and equipped with LED lighting.
The vehicle – a white Skoda Roomster – is equipped with a Faraday tent that fully encloses the left rear seat. Both the tent and the interior paneling of the corresponding door are made of double-layered, fine-meshed copper fabric. When the door is closed, the shielded space becomes a signal-technical null space, which blocks electromagnetic signals such as GPS, GSM, internet, and Wi-Fi—making tracking and communication with the outside world impossible.
Inside the tent, there is only a single seat and a small LED light. The vehicle will be parked at certain spots for indefinite periods before being driven away again.
The left rear door remains open during the parking period. The vehicle is monitored during opening hours either from inside or remotely. While the rear windows are tinted, the windshield and front side windows are covered from the inside. As a result, it remains unclear whether a driver is inside the vehicle. All other doors remain locked.
